A production background from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series "The Smurfs" (1981-1989). Featuring a wooden table inside of a wooden workshop, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in an episode from 1982. Measuring 10.5"x14" overall, the background is in very good condition with minor wear due to age and handling.
